In general, always make sure to use the correct care products for the specific material of the shoe. Additionally, the correct order of application is important to achieve a promising result.
Eg-Gü products impress with their effortless use and yet outstanding results. With our two product lines, we are ideally positioned to offer customers everything they need for optimal leather and sneaker care.
Regular shoe care offers many benefits for you - and of course for your shoes. Especially with leather shoes, you ensure a longer lifespan, and with the right products, you can keep the leather supple. Additionally, they are less susceptible to dirt of any kind.
In general, if your shoes get dirty, they should be cleaned as soon as possible. Shoe care, including waterproofing or color refreshment, is advisable every two to three weeks to protect your shoes from "drying out," keep them supple, and improve their appearance.
Since waterproofing doesn't last forever, it's necessary to repeat it every two to four weeks. This is the only way to protect your shoes from moisture.
Remove dry dirt with water. This can cause the dirt to penetrate the material and become harder to remove than with dry cleaning. If the dirt is dry, the shoes should also be cleaned with a dry brush or cloth. Only waterproof the shoes once at the beginning. Waterproofing must be re-applied regularly, otherwise the protection against moisture will be lost.
